Claudia Palmer, 65 of Akron passed away on April 12, 2021.  She was a lifetime resident of Akron and the owner of the Main Event Bar on Main St..  She liked to paint and draw and was always helping people.

Claudia is preceded by her husband Donald Owens, parents Ward and Eleanor Palmer, sister Maxine Morris, brothers Rodney Palmer and Ricky Palmer and friend John Ray.  She is survived by her daughter Jamie Smith, granddaughters Lil Claudia Palmer and Carley Palmer and grandson Rodney Smith the light of her life, brother David Palmer, good friend Kimmy Watkins and pastor and friend Duane Crabbs.
