Christopher M. Cox, 25, of Akron, passed away September 27, 2015. Chris was a Boy Scout starting out in Pack 3210, then Troop 210 and earned his rank as an Eagle Scout. He attended Arlington Memorial Baptist Church and enjoyed yard work and landscaping. Chris is survived by his parents, Richard "Dick" and Debbie Cox; brother, Jonathon; grandpa, Walter Russell; aunt and uncles, Bob and Sandy Russell and Skip Russell; and several other family members and friends. A memorial service will be held at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd., Thursday at 7 p.m., officiated by Pastor David Bogue. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Arlington Memorial Baptist Church Food Cupboard.
