Brenda J. McClish, 60, of Akron passed to be present with her Lord and Savior and some of her other favorite angels on October 6, 2024.

Born in Akron, she grew up in the surrounding areas and had several different jobs. Most recently, she worked at Ferriot Ind. for many years. After retirement, she loved being a homebody. She loved relaxing at home, watching COPS and Unsolved Mysteries. She loved Harley Davidson, wolves, music, beautiful artwork, poetry, and all of her children (her many dogs).

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents Earl Cherry and Penny Finlaw, her aunt, Mary Eckert, and granddaughters Amari and Adrianna Dumas (forever 17).  She is survived by her husband William "Art" McClish; daughter Heather Dumas; grandchildren Serenity, Nova, Natalia and Victoria; sister Karen Barton; brother Jimmy; her beloved dogs and many other friends and relatives.

Funeral services will be held at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd., on Wednesday October 16, 2024 at 7:00 p.m.. officiated by Don Bolich.  Calling hours will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
