Betty "Ann" Scott, 83, of Akron, passed away on October 12, 2018. Ann was born in Akron and graduated from Kenmore High School. She was a life long member of the Akron Baptist Temple where she taught Sunday School with Carl and was an active member in her ABF class. She also drove a bus and volunteered for Massillon Christian School. She worked for many years at Prentice Funeral Home and Tri-County Title Agency. She loved woodworking, travel and playing piano, organ and steel drum. Ann was preceded by her husband, Carl Scott. She is survived by her son, Gordon (Michelle) Scott; daughter, Betsy Scott; her grandchildren, Jessica, Jenna and Sam and grand-dog Oliver. Funeral services will be held at the Akron Baptist Temple, 2324 Manchester Rd. on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Rev. Ed Holland and Rev. Larry Knight. Private burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Friends may call at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd., on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and an hour prior to the service at the church.
