Barbara Gay Norrod passed away on April 30, 2025. Barbara was born on January 6, 1936, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, but she spent most of her life in Akron, Ohio.  Barbara was an actress known for The Dead Next Door, Skinned Alive, Dead And Rotting and The Sandman. She also loved to travel the world.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Donald R. Norrod, sons James, Donald and Gary.  She is survived by children Mark (Lorraine) Norrod and Sherry Johnson, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at the Prentice Funeral Home, 1154 Kenmore Blvd., Akron on Monday, May 12, 2025 at 12:00 pm, followed by burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call an hour prior to the service from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
